By early 1972 Steel and Pipe Supply was setting sales and profit records every month. The current operation in Manhattan was at capacity so Steel and Pipe Supply opened a storage and shipping operation in Muskogee, Oklahoma. This was the first expansion outside of Manhattan and singled that Steel and Pipe Supply was poised for the largest growth period in company history.
Within a year or two, this operation would move to the Port of Catoosa into the site it sits today where it has undergone numerous expansions and upgrades that has led it to being Steel and Pipe Supply’s largest warehouse today.
